Cross-functional collaboration
Research methodology
The Senior UX Researcher (Program & Practice focus), is a full-stack researcher whose purview spans strategic research, cross-portfolio insights, and the systems that support a mature research organization. In this role, you will conduct mixed-methods research, identify trends across the product portfolio, and analyze participant and recruiting patterns to drive improvements in research quality, standards, and user access. You will act as a force multiplier for the team—enabling consistency, efficiency, and strategic alignment across all research functions.
What you will do:
-
Design and conduct research studies, analyze study data, and communicate complex research findings through compelling storytelling to align stakeholders on actionable insights that influence product roadmaps and business strategy.
-
Lead strategic initiatives to modernize the research lifecycle. Identify and pilot new methodologies (e.g., automated UX testing) in high-impact areas, creating the scalable playbooks and frameworks for enterprise-wide rollout.
-
Partner with embedded UX researchers to architect a longitudinal research strategy; establishing the standardized plans and protocols needed to turn recurring user feedback into a cohesive, long-term evidence base for product strategy.
-
Strategically oversee participant governance and panel health; analyzing database trends to identify knowledge gaps, reach underrepresented segments, and ensure all recruitment and data practices remain ethical, unbiased, and compliant with global privacy standards.
-
Evaluate and pilot AI-driven solutions to scale qualitative analysis and streamline operational workflows, ensuring all implementations are ethical, responsible, and enhance the depth of human insights.
-
Nurture strategic partnerships with Marketing, Sales, and Support to maintain sustainable access to diverse user groups and align disparate user data into a cohesive customer journey.
What you will bring:
-
Expertise in leading end-to-end evaluative and generative studies that deliver actionable insights within tight product cycles.
-
Ability to pilot, refine, and document new research methodologies and "playbooks" to scale best practices that work across diverse product portfolios rather than in silos.
-
The ability to treat the participant database as a core product by monitoring health metrics, identifying representation gaps, and proactively designing recruitment strategies to reach underrepresented or emerging user segments.
-
Exceptional collaboration skills with the ability to build cross-functional partnerships.
-
Ability to influence without authority and communicate with clarity at multiple altitudes.
What you will need:
-
Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field (such as HCI, Human Factors, Psychology, or Organizational Management) and 5+ years of demonstrable experience in UX Research within a technical environment.
-
Proven track record of navigating complex situations and projects successfully
-
Adaptable to changing conditions and unexpected obstacles, modifying work methods in response to new information to accomplish organizational goals
The salary range for this position is $118,600.00 - $195,680.00. Actual offer will be based on your qualifications.
