The Impact You'll Make
At Recursion, we are decoding biology to radically improve lives. To accelerate our mission, we need exceptional people doing the best work of their careers in an environment that is inclusive, innovative, and purpose-driven.
We’re looking for a Reward Analyst to join us for a 7 month contract to take stewardship of our global compensation programs. You will be the engine behind our Role and Reward (R&R) cycles, ensuring our roles are benchmarked appropriately, the systems are setup in a way that is intuitive and useful for our leaders, and comms helps our people understand what happened to their compensation and why.
This is a high-impact opportunity for a data-driven reward professional who is excited to build tech-enabled, AI-forward people programs that help our teams and our mission thrive.
Please Note: This is a fixed-term contract for 7 months. You will be eligible for Recursion benefits with the exception of equity and bonus.
In this role, you will:
-
Lead Global Reward Cycles: Own the end-to-end execution of our "Role and Reward" (R&R) cycles, managing salary and bonus reviews that align outcomes with our goals.
-
Architect Tech-Enabled Systems: Contribute to the design and development of our compensation systems and HRIS tools, leveraging technology to automate workflows and drive "AI-forward" reward operations.
-
Drive curated Benchmarking: Conduct deep-dive market analysis using biotech-specific intelligence, as well as being creative and thoughtful about alternative data sources to ensure Recursion remains competitive across our US, UK, and Canadian hubs.
-
Equity & LTI Planning: Partner with our Stock Services team to ensure seamless administration and communication of our equity programs, ensuring our employees understand the long-term value of their stake in Recursion’s success.
-
Elevate Job Architecture: Lead job evaluation and leveling exercises across all our functions, ensuring internal equity and creating growth pathways for our diverse talent.
-
Deliver Data-Informed Impact: Partner with internal teams and leaders to provide compensation analytics and modeling that align our people strategy with business priorities and organizational growth.
The Team You Will Join:
Recursion’s People Team creates the conditions to enable and sustain high-performing teams, and helps employees do the best work of their careers. We are talent scouts and partners, creating experiences and outcomes that support our employees and drive business success. We focus on scalable solutions that add value across geographies, while providing individual advisory partnership and support where it matters most. With a people + data approach, we ensure Recursion has the people, culture, and operating dynamics to accelerate drug discovery and get medicines to patients faster.
The Experience You’ll Need:
-
4+ years of experience leading progressive compensation strategies in high-growth biotech or tech-forward environments
-
Experience managing end-to-end global Role & Reward cycles, including merit, bonus, and market benchmarking at scale
-
Demonstrated ability to apply systems thinking to HRIS workflows and optimize tools for intuitive, scalable leader experiences
-
Advanced analytical and modeling skills, with the ability to translate complex compensation data into clear, executive-ready insights
-
Deep expertise in equity-based compensation (Options, RSUs), including modeling value and communicating impact to diverse audiences
-
Experience leading job architecture and leveling initiatives to ensure internal equity and scalable career pathways
-
Proficiency in leveraging AI and modern People Tech (ideally Hi Bob and Pave) to automate workflows and scale reward operations
