Korea Public Relations Lead

Responsibilities and Opportunities

• Build and maintain direct relationships with Desk Editors and senior journalists at Korea's top technology, business, and financial media outlets
• Shape Korea PR strategy by contributing to planning, monitoring competitor positioning, and identifying opportunities to advance Rebellions' story
• Write and pitch press materials including press releases, Q&As, executive messaging, and localized global announcements
• Lead crisis and issues management by drafting playbooks, statements, and advising leadership on reputational risk in real time
• Support CEO and executive visibility in Korean media including interview preparation and earnings-related communications
• Coordinate cross-border announcements with the global team and ensure message alignment with IR, legal, and product teams

Key Qualifications

• 15–20 years of hands-on PR experience as a senior operator who owns drafting, pitching, and execution directly
• Proven track record in strategic media relations, crisis communications, and stakeholder management
• Strong existing relationships with journalists and Desk Editors at major Korean outlets
• Business-level bilingual fluency in Korean and English with no translation support needed
• Background in technology PR across AI, semiconductors, hardware, or enterprise tech
• Experience counseling C-suite executives for high-stakes media engagements

Ideal Qualifications

• Experience in a tech startup, pre-IPO, or public company environment
• Combination of agency and in-house PR experience
• Experience with financial/investor-facing communications and Employee Advocacy programs
