The NSMS Standard Production program has an immediate opening for an ambitious Finance professional to join our team as a Financial Cost Controls Lead. This is a unique opportunity to work in a classified production environment, where all tasks are performed onsite. Our team is responsible for financial reporting and analysis, Estimate at Completions (EAC), Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS), and ad hoc finance support to the program. As a member of the NSMS Standard Production Finance team, you will be joining a friendly, high-performing group that values trust, mutual respect, and the pursuit of innovative solutions to meet critical program objectives.

What You Will Do

  • Development of quarterly EACs; analysis/assist in accurate projection of Estimate to Complete (ETC), Estimate at Complete (EAC) and Latest Revised Estimate (LRE) data.

  • Oversee financials for multiple programs in a portfolio area; assist and provide guidance and mentoring to junior analyst(s)

  • Budgeting, cost control and variance analysis, internal/external reporting, risk management, and financial support

  • Assist manpower planning, forecasting and reporting.

  • Develop and present briefing of program financial status to customer.

  • Perform ad-hoc analysis, data integrity checks, and validations related to program financials.

  • Provide internal FP&A support for programs/portfolio; assist with forecasting, reporting and adhoc requests. Support AOP/ Long Range Planning development

  • Working knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), Cost Accounting Standards (CAS), and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)

Qualifications You Must Have

  • Typically requires a Bachelor’s and a minimum of 8 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and a minimum of 5 years experience

  • Professional experience in a related finance role

  • Experience with MS Office (ex. Excel)

  • Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.

The salary range for this role is 107,500 USD - 204,500 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.

Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
