What You Will Do

  • Work closely with operations team to identify problems in the process
  • Create standard work that reflects the requirements of the process
  • Train operators to ensure consistent operation across all shifts
  • Implement solutions by working with Manufacturing Engineers and Operations associates that makes the process: Safer, Higher quality, Repeatable, and More efficient
  • Maintain and drive continuous improvements to manufacturing standard work, ensuring alignment with internal customer requirements and systemic audit findings
  • Foster improved communication between shop floor and engineering groups
  • Identify and solve problems in the manufacturing process
  • Query Access Database to investigate manufacturing process
  • Quality improvement by ownership of PFMEA projects
  • OEE improvement by identifying RCCA and implementation
  • Refer difficulties to Engineering Manager
  • May be assigned to tasks not specifically listed within the scope and skill level of this job description in support of department objectives and to develop individual skills

Qualifications You Must Have

  • HS Diploma or AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post high school training) with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience
  • U.S. Person
  • Job requires access to ITAR or 600/500-series EAR information or hardware (directly or indirectly) and the company will not seek an export authorization for this role

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance workers, as they are essential to the development of our engines. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.
