About the Role
Pratt & Whitney has an exciting opportunity within the Military Engines Finance team for a Government Finance Principal Specialist. The position will be an onsite role located at our East Hartford, Connecticut campus location. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, proficiency in SAP and excel, knowledge of the Military Engine and P&W businesses and the ability to navigate complex regulatory environments.
What You Will Do
- Prepare and submit annual Final Incurred Cost Claim Proposal to U.S. Government.
- Prepare and submit annual Forward Pricing Rate Proposals to U.S. Government and internal customers.
- Manage various Government audits, including DCAA (Defense Contract Audit Agency) and DCMA (Defense Contract Management Agency) audits, and respond to audit findings.
- Support annual Cost Accounting Changes and updates to the Disclosure Statement.
- Prepare and support quarterly tracking.
- Execute mid-year and November estimate at completion (EAC).
- Manage any ad hoc requests from external and internal customers.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance with a minimum of 5 years of applicable work experience; OR an advanced degree in accounting or finance and 3+ years of applicable work experience.
- Strong MS Excel & MS PowerPoint.
- US Citizenship required due to business support requirements.
Preferred Qualifications
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Efficient in use of Office software (Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.); working knowledge of SAP and BW.
- Candidate must be able to work independently with minimum supervision.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with government auditors and internal stakeholders.
- Strong data analytics skills and interpersonal skills with ability to work with individuals and/or team at all levels.

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance workers, as they are essential to the development of our engines.

Compensation
The salary range for this role is $86,800 USD - $165,200 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company's performance.
