What You Will Do:

• Experience with IT systems administration in a heterogeneous Microsoft Windows and Redhat Enterprise Linux environment.

• Experience with Windows Server internals or Linux fundamentals to include DNS, DHCP, AD, and server replication methods.

• Working as a team member in a fast-paced technological environment.

• Experience with troubleshooting techniques to resolve technical problems of a moderate to high scope and complexity to include the integration of hardware and operating systems (OS).

• Must be able to obtain Department of Defense Directive (DoDD) 8140 / 8570 Certification requirements (CompTIA Security+ CE or equivalent certification) within 6 months of start date.

• Full time 100% Onsite position.

Qualifications You Must Have:

• Typically requires a University degree or equivalent experience and a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years experience.

• Active and transferable U.S. government issued Secret security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

• Experience with Windows and/or Linux.

Qualifications We Prefer:

• Experience with Containerization Technologies such as Open Shift, Kubernetes, Docker, Tanzu, and Rancher.

• Experience with Continuous Integration\Continuous Delivery Tools such as Gitlab, Jenkins, and Azure DevOps.

• Department of Defense Directive (DoDD) 8140 / 8570 Certification requirements (CompTIASecurity+ CE or equivalent certification and an Operating System Certification).

• Experience with NISPOM, JAFAN, JSIG, DFARS and/or DoD/RMF, data storage, NAS, and SAN technologies and solutions.

• Experience using VMWare v Center, v Sphere, and ESX and/or other virtual computing methods.

• Experience with Microsoft WSUS, MECM, and/or Exchange.

• High Performance Computing (HPC) experience in a Linux environment.

The salary range for this role is 86,800 USD - 165,200 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
