We have an exciting opportunity for a Sr. Systems Engineer – Integration and Test, supporting one of our premier programs in the Space Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (SISR) business units. In Systems Integration and Test (SI&T) we integrate, verify, and validate our products and your knowledge with regards developing plans and procedures, debugging and evaluating system functions and interfaces, developing test environments, and working hand-in-hand with our integration teams and customers will be put to good use.
The work is on-site in Aurora, CO.
What You Will Do
- Conduct integration and test activities as a member of an Agile Release Train (ART) team
- Identify technical issues during software and hardware integration and collaborate with fellow engineers to drive solutions to closure
- Development of automated test scripts and their execution
- Troubleshooting and debugging issues
- Work in an Agile program environment
Required Qualifications
- Typically requires a Bachelor's Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience
- Experience with systems integration and test for a software product in an Agile environment, including regression testing, test scripting, and/or test automation tools
- Experience with hands-on Integration and Test engineering
- Experience troubleshooting and debugging a software-based system or product
- Experience with Linux Red Hat, Python, or Perl
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working within a CI/CD environment
- Experience working in a Satellite Ground System development or operations environment
- Development experience in project domain (e.g., mission management ground systems, space-based ISR platforms)
- Experience with Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket)
- Experience in Test Automation (Cucumber, Gherkin, Zypher)
- Experience with Java, C++, Python, Linux operating system, Cloud environments

Salary
The salary range for this role is $86,800 USD - $165,200 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
Additional Information
This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
