The Air & Space Defense Systems Finance organization is seeking a Business Manager for the Civil, Commercial, and Special Programs PAD within the Mission Solutions and Payloads (MSP) SSBU. The selected candidate will be responsible for the financial management of all CC&SP programs and contracts with annual revenue of $300M. In this role you will have 5 direct reports and a team of 10 financial professionals, supporting both classified and unclassified activity. The role partners directly with the CC&SP PAD to drive forecasting, risk and opportunity management, investment and strategy decisions, and EAC process. You can expect to have frequent interaction and collaboration with various functions, customers, and multiple levels of leadership, which will require you to possess strong presentation and communication skills and have a solid understanding of financial performance management, processes, compliance, and governance.

Finance serves as a critical business partner by providing proactive business structuring, analysis, insight and guidance to enable tactical and strategic decision making, driving product line business performance to achieve and exceed financial objectives. This role will provide overarching financial governance, cost controls, financial planning and financial change management to the CC&SP Programs.

What You Will Do

• Lead a team of 10 finance professionals, responsible for coaching, mentoring, and learning
• Drive complaint financial management of a large portfolio of programs.
• Lead EAC’s, EVMS, AOP execution
• Partner with the CC&SP PAD and leadership team driving predictable financial outcomes, growth, and program execution

Qualifications You Must Have

• Typically requires a Bachelor’s and a minimum of 10 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and a minimum of 7 years experience
• Experience in managing staff and leading business teams.
• The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

• Understanding of CAS and FAR
• Working knowledge and experience in multiple disciplines within financial and operational organizations
• Demonstrated ability to influence upper levels of management and work across the organization to achieve results
• Demonstrated ability to make decisions in order to create opportunities and mitigate risk
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build customer relations with internal and external customers
• Strong executive presence and ability to influence senior leaders

• Demonstrated ability of developing a team capable to offer internally and externally focused analytical insights that drive business decisions and results
• Knowledge of government contract accounting
• Knowledge of SAP and Costpoint functionality and ability to utilize the system to its fullest capabilities

The salary range for this role is 145,600 USD - 276,800 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
