Produce precision parts by operating machining equipment in alignment with process documentation, engineering drawings, and established quality and production standards.
What You Will Do:
- Obtains necessary stock, fixtures, tooling and gaging
- Sets-up other manual machines for other classifications to operate
- Sets up & Operates manual machines necessary to produce module parts. For example (Not all inclusive):
- Lathes, grinders, jig bore
- Drills, radial drill, presses, saws
- Performs machinist duties
- Performs ID/OD grinder duties
- Performs in-process inspection as a certified operator
- Performs CMM and other required inspection
- May be assigned to support functions such as:
- Deburr, Tumble, Part Mark
- Performs computer transactions
- Moves parts to, from, within module
- Cleans machines
- General housekeeping
- Provides direction to Machining Module Support Tech
Qualifications We Require:
- Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent, preferably technical school background, and demonstration of basic educational competencies (reading, writing)
- Blueprint and routing reading and comprehension
- Competent with hand tools and experienced with measuring equipment
- Basic Computer skills such as log on, data entry and retrieval
- Obtain certifications and qualifications required to perform job

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.

The salary range for this role is $30.95/hr. The salary rate provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
