About the Role

As a Principal Industrial Specialist you must possess excellent writing, verbal, organizational and customer service skills. You must be a Self-starter with the ability to work under minimal supervision. You also must have the ability to develop solutions for issues of moderate complexity and scope.

Responsibilities

  • Day-to-day management of closed area construction projects working closely with Raytheon Facility Project Managers, and other internal stakeholders as well as government agencies
  • Ensuring closed area construction is compliant with applicable standards
  • Conducting assessments of existing space to determine security vulnerabilities, assisting in the design of modifications to ensure compliance, and providing other site security management responsibilities
  • Creating physical assessment documents, compliance documents, photographic records of construction progress and final accreditation packages
  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds
  • Must be able to climb ladders
  • Must possess a valid driver's license
  • Willing to travel on company business

Required Qualifications

  • Typically requires: A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience, OR An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years experience
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Visio, and Power Point)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Visio, and Power Point) and other web-based computer programs
  • Knowledge of ICD/ICS 705 processes and construction standards
  • Knowledge of NISPOM processes and construction standards
  • Knowledge of building construction materials, standards, and practices

Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company's performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
