What You Will Do

• Design, develop, test, deliver, and maintain software for cutting-edge systems
• Work with talented teams of engineers, architects, and leaders in an Agile environment
• Obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued TS/SCI security clearance

What You Will Learn

• A breadth of advanced software technologies and techniques including multi-tiered architectures, AWS web services, and microservice software design
• Modern Dev Sec Ops and Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery techniques
• Software lifecycle practices for large-scale defense projects
• Satellite ground system technologies including command & telemetry, flight dynamics, planning and scheduling, and spacecraft operations

Required Qualifications

• Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and 8 years of prior, relevant software engineering experience
• Experience developing object-oriented software using C++ and Java
• The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued TS/SCI security clearance is required
• U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance

Preferred Qualifications

• Active and transferable U.S. government issued TS/SCI security clearance prior to start date
• Experience with Bamboo, Git, Gradle, JavaScript, and Docker
• Experience with satellite ground system software including orbital mechanics
• Experience developing software using Python
• Background in microservices, Kubernetes, and containerized applications

Work Arrangement

Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products. Candidates may be asked to attend select steps of the interview process in-person at one of our office locations, regardless of whether the role is designated as on-site, hybrid or remote.
