This technical role manages planning, budgeting, and tracking activities, ensuring alignment with program objectives and Earned Value Management (EVM) requirements.

What You Will Do:

  • As part of the project leadership team, you will collaborate directly with IPTL to create and manage plans development teams using EVMS and IMS to track program execution

  • You will be responsible for producing quantifiable metrics for your control accounts

  • You will manage your team’s technical control tower and present progress to program and organizational leadership

  • You will remain abreast of the program’s technical progress, and demonstrate the ability to track, understand, and communicate technical elements to company and government stakeholders

  • You will build and improve Control Account Manager (CAM) processes to produce consistently accurate earned value reporting

  • Coordinate with engineering, finance, and scheduling teams to validate progress and manage risks.

  • You will provide Jira support and/or scrum master support for agile teams as needed

What You Will Learn:

  • You will gain valuable experience beyond the Control Account Manager (CAM) position, including roles such as Scrum Master, Product Owner (PO), Project Engineer (PE), and IPTL. In coordination with these roles you will have an opportunity to work with Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) Teams and Program Managers (PMs).

  • You will gain fundamental experience required for planning and executing a large program.

  • You will have opportunity to learn and grow knowledge within the Strategic Nuclear Deterrence domain and VLF/LF development.

  • You will learn about communication technologies with exposure to the variety of business and products in an evolving field.

  • We are growing, so can you!

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience.

  • Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

  • At least 5 years, previous professional experience in accounting, finance, earned value, and/or working as a Control Account Manager (CAM).

  • Previous experience working with Systems or Hardware engineering.

Qualifications We Prefer:

  • Experience with cross functional (hardware, software, systems, and specialty) engineering development.

  • Exposure to technical product development, qualification, and integration of US DoD products.
