Ready to help revolutionize embedded software development? Join us as an Entry-Level Dev Sec Ops Software Engineer to contribute to innovation and efficiency in our software processes. In this role, you'll support the design and implementation of Dev Sec Ops pipelines, accelerating growth and embracing a test-driven software development approach.
This position will be at our Aguadilla, PR location. You must be residing in Puerto Rico at the time of starting employment. Relocation is not offered.
This role is categorized as hybrid, with 3 days onsite and 2 days remote following the schedule assigned by the Manager.
What YOU will do:
- Assist in the collaboration with cross-functional teams to design and implement efficient Dev Sec Ops pipelines tailored to software development needs.
- Support the development of automated testing, continuous integration, and continuous delivery processes to enhance efficiency and accelerate software development cycles.
- Help with the implementation and continuous improvement of CI/CD pipelines, shaping the future of software delivery.
- Assist in selecting, configuring, and integrating tools to enhance software development flow, optimizing productivity and performance.
- Work closely with DevOps managers and relevant teams to understand and adapt DevOps practices, ensuring alignment with specific program needs.
- Provide support in Dev Sec Ops implementation to assist software teams in adopting Dev Sec Ops tools and best practices.
- Enable development teams to automate artifact generation and manage product lifecycles efficiently.
- Assist in automating software releases while ensuring quality, cybersecurity, and safety requirements are met.
- Support behavioral- and test-driven development practices to enhance software design, implementation, and test automation.
- Help design, develop, and maintain dashboards that display Dev Sec Ops metrics, performance measures, and indicators of continuous improvement.

Qualifications you must have:
- Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and less than 2 years prior relevant experience.
- Demonstrated professional experience communicating in English (verbal and written).
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.
Qualifications We Prefer:
- Internship or project experience with CI/CD pipeline development and automation tools (e.g., GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, or similar).
- Familiarity with containerization, orchestration, and security practices in Dev Sec Ops environments.
- Some knowledge of aerospace, defense, or medical devices with a focus on secure software development and compliance standards.
