About the Role
As PM Express Product Manager, you will lead an agile team of developers through the process of defining and implementing our digital future state. This role will require the ability to bring together a wide variety of internal and external stakeholders to execute the digital roadmap. We are seeking a highly collaborative Product Manager with a track record for delivering digital solutions in support of program management, and knowledge of Military Engines Program Management. The position will report to the GATORWORKS Director, 6th Gen Digital Strategy.
Responsibilities
- Execute the Digital 6th Gen (D6G) Transformation roadmap
- Coordinate with D6G workstream leaders to scope and plan activities, including time & resource estimates, and budget management
- Oversee rapid exploration and prototype development of usable technical and business process solutions (Pathfinder Projects)
- Drive strategy and horizontal alignment at D6G Program level (across Workstreams and organizations)
- Execute regular communication strategy and Organizational Change Management steps
- Interface with other digital teams across PW, to flow out D6G priorities
- Availability to travel 10%
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree with 8+ years of experience OR Advanced degree with 5+ years experience
- 8+ years of hands-on experience with structured project management
- The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced degree MA/MS/MBA
- Demonstrated skills leading changes through organization
- Demonstrated experience leading Agile teams
- A dynamic problem solver with the ability to craft solutions to everyday challenges with creative new ideas
- Knowledge of Military Engines Program Management
- Experience writing proposals, bidding, or generating basis of estimate documentation
- Experience in managing conflict and diffusing difficult situations
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, and strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a dynamic work environment
- Experience with software development standards, principles, theories, concepts and techniques
- Skilled at anticipating problems and planning to mitigate them
- Ability to work in a collaborative, multi-discipline environment to produce deliverable products
Work Environment
This role is Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance workers, as they are essential to the development of our engines. Candidates will learn more about role type and current site status throughout the recruiting process.
For onsite and hybrid roles, commuting to and from the assigned site is the employee's personal responsibility.
