About us:At OMNIA® Training, we’ve brought together some of the UK’s most innovative defence training organisations under one powerful mission: to transform the British Army’s training system and create the best-trained Army in the world.

OMNIA are redefining the British Army’s collective training. To do that, we are looking for the best and brightest minds from across the UK. We are are backed by British innovation and powered by world-class experts, like you. OMNIA is at the heart of the UK’s bold Land Industrial Strategy.

Every person in our team plays a critical role in delivering OMNIA’s vision; designing, delivering, and transforming collective training so the British Army is ready to fight and win.

You’ll work in a matrix organisation and report operationally through OMNIA Training and functionally through the Raytheon UK Programme Management Team. Ultimately, you’ll work for the British Army, championing innovation, and helping shape the future of military training.

Main Duties:

We are looking for a dynamic and high performing Change Programme Manager to join OMNIA Training to manage Change Management across the programme. The role will involve communication and interfacing with customers and the project team

We are looking for someone with an ability to anticipate problems across a span of issues and work areas, and to overcome them. We need a person who can work within a close-knit team, with the confidence to communicate and express ideas, twinned with the humility to listen to other people’s ideas. We need an individual who has a firm foundation of Project Management understanding and experience, but who is willing to learn and who wants to be developed.

  • Manage Change Management within the programme, including logging and tracking changes.

  • Facilitate and manage regular change reviews and updates including various stakeholders

  • Identify risks, issues and opportunities within the changes and incorporate within overarching RAIDO process.

  • Manage the production of gate packs and where appropriate lead gate reviews

  • Contribute to the identification and delivery of enhancements to systems and processes.

  • Monitor Programme and Project progress and escalate issues that impact progress.

  • Sustain collaborative relationships with the Customer, Partners and across Raytheon.

Who we are looking for:

  • We’re after individuals who want to serve. You’ll have a mission focus, and the enthusiasm and drive to ‘get things done’. You’ll want to work in collaboration with other defence training organisations, and the British Army. You won’t let bureaucracy get in the way of what needs to be done, you’ll learn lessons and share these lessons across the team. You won’t necessarily have a military background, but you’ll understand what it means to serve and to put the mission first.

Below are both the Essential and Desirable candidate qualities. At Raytheon our priority is culture: we are keen to hear from people with the right attitude, values and willingness to learn, therefore even if you feel you do not meet the majority of the qualities, we still encourage you to apply.

Essential:

Relevant, recent demonstrable experience of successful programme execution in a highly regulated and/or controlled environment Demonstrate and advocate Raytheon leadership behaviours A self-starting and capable manager, able to effect change through the matrix organisation, even where direct hierarchical control does not exist Supportive, with the character to navigate sensitive and pressurised situations to overcome delivery challenges Able to engage with technical experts with credibility and understanding Drive to create change and continuously improve performance Creative and open to innovation in order to solve problems

Desirable:

Degree qualified in a technical or project management related discipline, or with equivalent non-academic experience. A recognised project management qualification is highly desirable. Some experience of working within the defence industry or alongside an MOD customer. Working knowledge of project management software tools such as Microsoft Project, Visio, Excel and other relevant applications

What we offer:A Culture Built on Collaboration:Work in an inclusive, high-performing team that celebrates ideas, supports growth, and is laser-focused on delivering results.

Team dynamics:You will be part of a team that works together, across multiple organisations united in one mission.

Work Across Borders, United in Purpose:Operate across organisations with one shared goal - improving capability across all domains.

Drive Innovation:Your voice matters. We champion new ideas, welcome change, and believe in continuous improvement with a growth mind-set.

Shape the Future:Play a crucial role in a long-term, future-facing programme with real-world impact on national defence.

Career Growth & Benefits:Enjoy a strong benefits package, ongoing development opportunities, and clear pathways to progress within a trusted defence industry partner.
