About the Role

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the set-up, calibration, and operation of machines used in production processes
  • Work from verbal or written instructions, diagrams, or models
  • Inspect machining operations and finished products against specified tolerances using precision measuring tools
  • Perform routine maintenance and cleaning
  • Set up and operate a CNC production machine in accordance with established procedures and guidelines
  • Use computer-controlled equipment to select, position and secure automatic or semi-automatic machines
  • Control and adjust machine settings to complete routine tasks according to specifications
  • Make calculations and assist with numeric controlled programming

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • Typically requires HS diploma (or equivalent, e.g. G.E.D. in the US) or vocational/technical education in related discipline with a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Completion of CNC Machine Operating technical school program
  • 1 year machine operator experience

  • $1,500 Sign on Bonus
  • 10% shift differential for 2nd shift
