We have an immediate opening for a Compressions Systems Module Center (CSMC) Supervisor – 1st shift.

Responsibilities

  • Provide direction to skilled CSMC bargaining unit employees
  • Lead employee engagement and continuous improvement efforts
  • Lead sustained improvements in safety, quality, production, material procurement, and cost reduction through the system's various elements
  • Perform daily supervisor responsibilities, project management, effective communication and execution with support group members
  • Establish work schedules taking into account customer requirements, resource availability and other priorities
  • Provide leadership and direction with an emphasis on team building through daily toolbox meetings, effective communications, and in developing an efficient team that is responsive to production requirements and changes
  • Demonstrate a 100% dedication to Quality, Environment Health and Safety (EHS) and Achieving Competitive Excellence (ACE)
  • Understanding and ability to drive quality and customer satisfaction through ACE operating system

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Operations, Engineering, Business with8+ years of leadership experience with specialized knowledge or technical/operational practices and/or shop environment experience;OR
  • Associates Degree with5+ years of leadership experience with specialized knowledge or technical/operational practices and/or shop environment experience;OR
  • In lieu of degree, 7+ years of leadership experience with specialized knowledge or technical/operational practices and/or shop environment experience
  • U.S. citizenship required due to government contracts
  • Experience working with all levels of management and experience in a union environment
  • Experience with Continuous Improvement principles (lean manufacturing, ACE, QCPC, etc.)

Work Environment

This role is Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance workers, as they are essential to the development of our engines. As part of our commitment to maintaining a secure hiring process, candidates may be asked to attend select steps of the interview process in-person at one of our office locations, regardless of whether the role is designated as on-site, hybrid or remote.

Compensation and Benefits

Salary Range: $107,500 USD - $204,500 USD

The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.

Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company's performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
