Your mission starts here at Raytheon Australia! Right now, we are seeking a bright and energised Operations Team Lead - Supply Chain.

Based in Cannon Hill, our Defence asset management program provides whole of life asset management services to a significant Defence fleet of Support and Test Equipment that enables capability across the Australian Defence Force.

You will lead a team of Asset Coordinators responsible for strategic asset management activities in support of achieving contracted fleet capability and availability outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide and process improvement recommendations for internal processes and material logistics information systems.
  • Supervise freight and distribution activities including the use of standard national and international freight agents and development of custom freight solutions.
  • Review, assess and process priority support requests in order to ensure operational capability is maintained.
  • Lead and manage Asset Coordinators
  • Ensure effective communication and reporting with program management
  • Initiate, drive and contribute to the delivery of Program Efficiency Services.

Skills, Experience & Qualifications

  • Bachelor degree in Management, Logistics or Supply Chain, or Certificate 4 in Supply / Logistics and / or Procurement related training and equivalent work experience, and

  • Minimum of 5 years experience in a sustainment / support program or Supply Chain management role.

  • Exposure to a Defence sustainment program.

  • SAP/ERP experience highly desirable

  • Successful candidates must be eligible to obtain and maintain a Negative Vetting 1 Security clearance as needed. Eligibility can be found at http://www.defence.gov.au/agsva
