This an opportunity for an Indirect Buyer to join the ever-successful Lubeck Collins site. You will ensure continuous flow of indirect Goods and Services in support of manufacturing, facilities, engineering, and all other functional areas of the business for Military and Civil requirements.

What you will do

• Manage incoming Material Requisitions from the site in line with Indirect Procurement Service Levels

• Purchase Goods, Services and MRO items for indirect/non-product procurement

• Creation and management of Blanket Purchase Orders

• Align supplier schedules with production schedules / internal customer requirements

• Evaluate supplier quotes and services to determine most desirable source of supply and create

• Monitor supplier delivery, On Time In Full (OTIF) and quality performance where required

• Manage Non-Conformance Reports (NCR’s)

• Participate in negotiations of long-term agreements with suppliers

• Be able to identify business and legal risks associated with Indirect Purchases of Goods and Services

• Negotiate with the supply base for reduced pricing and payment terms improvements

• Create and present metrics and support reports to suppliers, peers, and managers

• Develop and maintain key supplier relationships to include on-site audits, program/performance

Experience & Skills

• Proven experience working in a Tactical Buyer position

• Demonstratable experience and understanding in an Indirect Buying role

• Must have strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple projects simultaneously

• Adhere to all UTC rules and codes of conduct

• Ensure Compliance with all Corporate Polices

• Understanding of PO Contract Packages per Compliance standards

• Experience working with MRP system

• Excellent communication skills and the willingness to collaborate with internal and external teams

• Fluent in German and English (C1 or above) is essential

• Please note this is a 2 year fixed term contract

Certifications

• Bachelor's and Degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Finance, English, Accounting, Business/Administration, Engineering, Education, Communication, Management or equivalent experience
