About the Role

Candidate will perform a wide variety of tasks in a manufacturing/production environment, at our Mc Kinney, TX location. The candidate will also be asked to have flexibility to work across shifts/off shift/weekends as needed.

What You Will Do

  • Work with composite prepreg material
  • Tool prep for layup
  • Apply cut graphite or glass prepreg plies to tool
  • After cure de-tool part and remove flashing and prep part for secondary bonding
  • Use powered and non-powered hand tools throughout process
  • Bond hardware to composite parts using adhesives
  • Follow build instructions, read blueprints and technical data

Required Qualifications

  • Typically requires HS diploma (or equivalent, e.g. G.E.D in the US) or vocational/technical education in related discipline with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience
  • Experience working with composite materials and use of hand tools in a manufacturing environment
  • U.S. Citizen
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract

  • Ability to train and qualify on multiple processes
  • Strong safety focus
  • Positive attitude and teaming skills

Work Arrangement

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.
