Position Overview:

• Ownership of Quality practices through inspectors across multiple production locations.
• Collaborate with Inspections groups to assure that factories have proper production process controls foundations in place align with RL QMS Foundations.
• Accountable of 3rd party management and oversight within some Suppliers.
• Responsible to drive Supplier performance management, carryout risk analysis of supply factories, make sure formulated corrective action plans will cover all changes in the production.
• Where issues or non-compliance is identified, or raised by team, escalates concerns to immediate manager/ Department Lead for resolution and follow through.
• Ensure finished products are compliance with all design specifications and meet all required quality standards signed off during PP stages.
• Support immediate manager/Department Lead for system enhancement, quality callout follows up and DC inspection, etc.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Develop annual goals and follow up on Key Quality KPI’s.
• Oversight of inspectors’ performance and develop training plans to cover expectations. Develop team throughout the year to ensure there is a solid understanding of all RL QA deliverables and expectations.
• Periodically meetings with VQA Masters to review VQA’s performance and improvement plan.
• Field visits and meetings with vendors/factories on Vendor performance, quality issues resolutions and QMS implementation.
• Attend PP meetings to assure that all manufacturing risks are mitigated during the final PP sign off during the risk assessment process.
• Manage Inline / Final Inspections 3rd party inspectors/VQA teams align with QMS.
• Ensures transparency and adherence to escalation process when escalation required.
• Follow up with factories and local FQA Manager on any DC inspection or any other quality callouts (using QC tools).
• Work and provide feedback to the training manager in terms of training needs to develop new training programs or modify / improve existing programs for internal team, as well as support inspection trainings and certification process, provide feedback and data on inspector community performance.
• Support Quality System enhancements for testing and feedback.
• Manage finished product disposal processes for factories in manage countries with company policies and regulatory requirements, ensuring traceability and accountability.
• Partner with Hong Kong Distribution Center Operation team to arrange Governance and Oversight inspection in there.
• Oversee QC inspection activities at Hong Kong Distribution Centre, ensuring compliance with quality standards and proper documentation.

Experience, Skills & Knowledge

• Diploma holder or above in Quality Management, Engineering, Supply Chain, or a related field.

• 10+ years’ quality management relevant working experience

• 5+ years in management level, preferably in a regional or multi-country role

• Experience in apparel and non-apparel production, quality and special projects on efficiency, SWAT support

• Excellent communication and interpersonally skill and able to build relationship with multiple internal and external parties

• Team builder

• Strong ability to analyze issues and solve problems

• Willingness to travel regionally as required

• Fluent in English; proficiency in Cantonese or Mandarin is a plus
