Maritime - Service Engineer (Commissioning & Sea Trial)

Job Summary:

Service Engineer leads commissioning, trial, and delivery phases of the ship's cybersecurity systems and automation equipment, and serves as the on-site technical officer responsible for technical consultations with shipyards, shipowners, and classifications. Verify whether system configuration, testing, and security requirements are met, and are responsible for and lead test reports and delivery documents.

Responsibilities

• Lead the commissioning and commissioning of ship cybersecurity and automation systems

• Verify network and security configurations and ensure compliance with IACS UR E26/E27 requirements

• Technical issues, security risk analysis and Punch List, Close-out management

• Commissioning such as test reports and delivery documents, and final responsibility for delivery

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in electrical, electronic, control, IT, information security, etc.

• Experience in ship equipment, commissioning or commissioning automation systems, industrial networks

• Proficiency in conducting commissioning activities and resolving on-site technical issues

• Understanding of TCP/IP, industrial networks, system configuration and testing

• Ability to write and review technical documents (test reports, delivery documents)

• Ability to travel and work at domestic shipyards/sites

• Proficiency in Korean (Work communication level)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in ship cybersecurity systems or OT/ICS security projects

• Experience in IACS UR E26/E27, IEC 62443 and other related standards

• Experience in shipyard, shipowner, and classification entrance examination and technical consultation

• Experience in punch list management and close-out reading

• Proficiency in English (Meeting, technical explanation level)

• Network, security, and automation-related certifications
