General Summary:

As Hardware Program Manager, you will own & oversee the entire lifecycle of multiple IOT hardware platforms as we transition from design into manufacturing transfer and production. You'll lead cross functional teams, manage suppliers and contract manufacturers, keep vendors and internal teams aligned, maintain a schedule that reflects reality, identify risks early, and drive decisions to closure. This is a high-ownership role for someone who likes owning PM execution workflows and change control discipline that enables a fast-moving team ship hardware without chaos.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.

• 4+ years of Program Management experience.

• 3+ years of experience in HW manufacturing (PCB, SMT technology etc..).

• Demonstrated experience shipping hardware products to production—not just prototypes.

• 3+ years of experience in Vendor, Supplier Management.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in connected devices, IoT, or safety-critical hardware environments.

• Experience in BOM change control / document control system.

• Familiarity with manufacturing test strategy, fixture development, and yield learning.

• Track record of improving workflows & processes for speed and reliability.

• Components (RLC, PCB, DRAM, connectors, etc..) vendor selection experience.

• 2+ years of experience working in a large matrixed organization.

• 2+ years of experience with program management tools such as dashboards, Gantt charts, etc.

• Familiarity with CM, ODM business models.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

• Own all PM aspects of HW development for Test platforms & Reference platforms/kits and associated deliverables.

• Apply key program management methodologies and effectively use program management tools to carry out PM functions.

• Using verbal and written communication skills to simplify and convey complex issues and plans to all levels. Providing transparent status on a regular cadence to senior management.

• Collaborate with Key stakeholders to develop program goals, set the prioritization of deliverables, ensure appropriate processes are followed (change management, communication) and drive decisions necessary for on time delivery.

• Drive planning/scheduling: develop the execution schedule to include staffing needs and interdependencies. Coordinates department schedules, resources etc. and develops program master schedule, work plans, checklists, design reviews, and resource requirements

• Managing risks is a key component of responsibility: continuous risk assessment, identifying risks and identifying corresponding risk mitigation plan that does not impact schedule or cost overruns.

• Recommend process improvements that would improve efficiency of production and manufacturing quality.

• Work very closely with vendors, contract manufactures for platforms/kits build enablement and manage day to day activities towards ensuring on time delivery.

• Support SW integration for enablement and test at Suppliers/CMs.

• Establish relationships and manage deliverables from PCB, Component suppliers and test suppliers.

• Manage logistics and administrative function by proactively providing required paperwork for customer shipments, and new supplier onboarding.

• Chair cross functional team meetings to ensure program execution, progress, setting program priorities and resource alignment.

• Participate in design reviews and coordinate or assure compliance to design or department checklists and procedures. May interface with customer or supplier directly on a regular basis throughout the life cycle of program

• Tracks and manages all key metrics pertaining to a program and identifies when metrics deviate significantly from Plan of Record; escalates issues in a timely manner and proposes corrective actions.

• Maintain high execution standards: clear ownership, realistic estimates, and disciplined follow-through.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
• 2+ years of Program Management or related work experience.
