General Summary:Job Overview

Candidate will join Qualcomm IE-IOT Task Force team and work with a team of highly motivated and experienced engineers and industrial players in Japan region for designing & developing system on modules and products based on Qualcomm’s exciting new IoT focused So Cs with cutting edge AI, Machine learning, computer vision, security and wireless including cellular communication technologies.

Field Application Engineering Role

• Understand key aspects of customers' system requirements and designs.
• Communicate with internal engineering teams on customers’ issues/features/designs.
• Help external stakeholders including direct customers, design houses, ecosystem partners to easily port their applications on Qualcomm SoC-based systems and utilize various compute capabilities and software feature sets on the Qualcomm SoC.
• Project Management: Collaborate closely with Business Development and Product Marketing to build demo and evaluation environments for specific projects.
• Technical Training: Provide necessary technical deep dive and practical training to customers as needed.
• Commercial Support: Assist in the execution of Qualcomm's IE-IOT market development strategy in Japan's commercial channels.
• Solution Introduction: Support the introduction of solutions for customers, including Industrial IoT, Cloud AI, and Windows, from a technical perspective.
• Management of Distributor KPI : Accelerate IE-IOT business with Distributors, drive and achieve KPIs on YoY revenue growth, pipeline registration, and design win rate, ensuring satisfaction and fostering long-term relationships.

Skills/Experience

• 5+ years of experience in high technology systems and software responsible for the full business cycle (prospecting, customer presentation/demos, negotiating, and closing the sale).
• Strong customer/partner relationship skills.
• Experience building and implementing a sophisticated GTM strategy across multiple organizations.
• Business knowledge of the Industrial IoT and Robotics related markets.
• Familiar with embedded systems running complex and multimedia feature-rich OS like Ubuntu, Yocto Linux, Windows, and Android.
• Solid understanding of computer system architecture (core, cache, memory models, bus architecture, etc.), preferably based on ARM architecture.
• Hands on management, strong leadership, dynamic communication abilities and a creative and collaborative attitude.
• Team player and strongly self-motivated
• Able to execute multi task with high speed environment
• Master’s / Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science related field.
• Must demonstrate communication skills in English (both oral and written).

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 2+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience. OR
  Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 1+ year of Software Engineering or related work experience.
  OR
  PhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.

• 2+ years of academic or work experience with Programming Language such as C, C++, Java, Python, etc.
