Snapdragon Ride is an integral pillar of our Snapdragon Digital Chassis, and since its launch it has gained momentum with a growing number of global automakers and Tier1 suppliers. Enabling safe, comfortable, and affordable autonomous driving includes solving some of the most demanding and challenging technological problems. From centimeter-level localization to multimodal sensor perception, sensor fusion, behavior prediction, maneuver planning, and trajectory planning and control, each one of these functions introduces its own unique challenges to solve, verify, test, and deploy on the road.

We are looking for smart, innovative, and motivated individuals with strong SW background and programming experience with languages such as C/C++, python, and more. Job responsibilities include design and development of SW framework and middleware. Development and fine tuning of various data re-processing units and building APIs to feed re-processing pipelines. Work closely with other teams to develop, test and validate the data quality. Will be actively involved in SW development, integration and debugging issues.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 2+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience. OR
  Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 1+ year of Software Engineering or related work experience.
  OR
  PhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.

• 2+ years of academic or work experience with Programming Language such as C, C++, Java, Python, etc.

• 4 to 6 years of C++ development, C++11 and C++14 is a strong plus

• Embedded SW design and development for safety critical systems is a strong plus

• Experience with Programming languages such as C++, Python, Shell, etc.

• Experience with multi-threaded / multi-core SW development and design

• Experience with Docker containerization including creating and managing Docker files and container orchestration.

• Knowledge/experience on Linux and good to have on QNX.

• Knowledge of Linux network stack and any experience with network device drivers is a plus

• Familiarity with ROS/ROS2, Protos, Adaptive AUTOSAR middleware and frameworks

• Familiarity with AUTOSAR C++ architecture, especially Adaptive AUTOSAR and ARA (AUTOSAR Runtime for Adaptive Applications).

• Familiarity with static analysis tools, code coverage metrics, unit test generation

• Experience with Bazel build system for managing large-scale codebases and optimizing build performance.

• Experience with source code management tools such as git, git-lfs, github/gitlab

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, ability to work with a cross-functional team

• Good to have exposure to AI/ML concepts, including integration of AI models into application, data preprocessing for model training and model finetuning.
