General Summary:

Job Function

We are looking for talent software developers for Qualcomm China gaming team, focusing on Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies in gaming. You will be engaged in developing and optimizing AI modules and features for games running on Qualcomm’s platforms.
You may not realize it, but the QCT division of Qualcomm produces many of the best mobile SOCs on the market. We've produced hundreds of millions of chipsets embedded in our industry-leading mobile phone chips. If you see someone using a smartphone, there's a good chance its processor is from Qualcomm.

Skills/Experience

Proficient in at least one of C, C++/Python programming languages is a must Good knowledge of computer architecture, multi process/thread programing, operating system, data structures and basic algorithms Knowledge and experience of developing commercialized software or research at one of below area:

• experience with computer vision techniques relevant to game AI, including super resolution, frame generation, or scene understanding.
• experience with speech-related AI, such as automatic speech recognition (ASR) and advanced TTS models.
• experience with generative AI technologies, such as stable diffusion, large language models (LLM), and their applications within game AI.
• experience with neural rendering techniques such as neural denoising, neural post-processing effects.

Strong ability to learn quickly and work independently within a multidisciplinary, and fast paced organization. Excellent communication, written and verbal English skills.

Responsibilities

Participate in the profiling and analysis of in-game AI to identify and resolve performance bottlenecks. Optimize AI algorithms and models for performance and efficiency on Qualcomm hardware. Collaborate in the development and demonstration of advanced Game AI features, such as procedural content generation, intelligent animation or game AI coach/companion.

Education Requirements

Master’s degree in computer engineering, Artificial Intelligence, Electrical Engineering or related field.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
