General Summary:

We are looking for software engineer with demonstrable knowledge and hands-on Multimedia Camera, IoT and Linux embedded systems experience. Major responsibility is to provide direct support to OEMs with the design, development and debug of Qualcomm reference designs software related issues. Candidate must quickly assimilate onto an existing project, understanding software driver architecture, read technical specifications/requirements, demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving abilities and work closely with external customers to customize and launch their new products. All Qualcomm employees are expected to actively support diversity on their teams, and in the Company.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.

• 2+ years Software Applications Engineering, Software Development experience, or related work experience.

• 2+ years experience with Linux embedded software systems.

• 2+ years experience with debugging techniques.

• 2+ years experience with Programming Language such as C, C++, Python, etc.

• 2+ years experience with OOP.

• Preferred Qualifications

• Strong background and hands-on experience in camera module and bring up related areas.

o Camera sensor driver

o VCM, actuator driver

o Flash driver

o PLD gating

• Experience with Programming Language such as C, C++, Python, etc. C/C++ programming in Linux embedded systems.

• Software design/debugging techniques, problem solving and documentation skills.

• Experience in Multimedia software development engineering for Linux based embedded systems and real-time operating systems.

• Experience with git, Make.

• Linux camera sensor driver bring-up.

• Experience in Camera ISP pipeline.

• Experience on Image Signal Processing and Computer Vision.

• Experience in Camera performance and power optimization.

• Camera sensor driver, VCM driver, flash driver, PLD gating.

• Experience in AI model training or deployment is a strong plus.

o Experience with NVIDIA deepstream, tensorrt, triton.

o Experience with AI model performance profiling and optimization.

o Knowledge of neural networks, with hands-on experience using ML frameworks such as Tensor Flow or Py Torch.

o Experience with Computer Vision and Natural Language Understanding.
