General Summary:
"We are seeking an experienced professional to drive growth for Qualcomm Academy by identifying training opportunities across the technology ecosystem. This role will involve working closely with external stakeholders and internal teams to understand market needs and deliver impactful training solutions for colleges, universities, OEMs, ODMs, and enterprise customers.
Key Responsibilities

Market Development & Opportunity Identification
-
Research and analyze industry trends, skill gaps, and emerging technologies to identify training needs.

Analyze market requirements and identify areas where Qualcomm Academy can provide impactful training solutions.

Engage with external stakeholders (colleges, universities, OEMs, ODMs, technology partners) and internal teams to understand industry trends and skill gaps.

Sales & Business Growth
-
Develop and execute strategies to expand Qualcomm Academy’s reach across academic institutions and enterprise customers.

Drive revenue through consultative selling of training programs aligned with Qualcomm’s technology roadmap.

Stakeholder Engagement
-
Collaborate with teams (engineering, product, marketing) to design customized training offerings.
-
Build strong relationships with decision-makers at educational institutions and tech companies.
-
Solution Design & Delivery
-
Translate customer requirements into structured training programs for emerging technologies (e.g., 5G, IoT, AI, embedded systems).
-
Ensure programs meet industry standards and deliver measurable outcomes.
-
Market Intelligence & Reporting
-
Monitor competitive landscape and provide insights to refine offerings.
-
Report on pipeline, conversions, and customer feedback to leadership.
Qualifications & Skills
-
6–8 years of experience in sales, business development, or partner management within technology, training or education sectors.

Strong understanding of tech ecosystems (semiconductors, wireless, 5G, IoT, AI) and their training needs.

Proven ability to manage complex stakeholder relationships and deliver consultative solutions.

Negotiate commercial and contractual terms with vendors/partners in collaboration with Legal and Procurement.
-
Coordinate end‑to‑end vendor selection, including market scans, RFP/RFI drafting, proposal evaluation, and recommendation.
-
Partner with Legal to review/redline agreements (MSAs, SOWs, NDAs) and ensure compliance with company policies.
-
Manage renewals and contract changes (scope, pricing, SLAs), ensuring cost-effectiveness and risk mitigation.
-
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
-
Ability to work independently and drive results in a fast-paced environment.
-
Willing to travel to different locations for customer meetings, trade shows to build/deepen relationships

Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree. OR
Associate's degree and 2+ years of relevant work experience.
OR
High School Diploma or equivalent and 4+ years of relevant work experience.
