General Summary:

As a market leader in wireless solutions, Qualcomm has been instrumental in enabling best-in-class Wi-Fi and BT solution to mobile phone, compute, consumer electronics, and access point segment. Next generation Wi-Fi solutions will drive lower power, ultra-low latency to enable best in class user experience for consumer electronics, IOT, compute and XR use cases. As a director product management for Qualcomm Connectivity, Broadband, & Networking group (CBN), you will define and drive a comprehensive connectivity product strategy for products that target consumer, IoT, compute and XR platforms, engage with key customers, develop ecosystem for products, drive HW/SW roadmap for the new technologies and drive initiatives to scale into new areas.

Additional responsibilities include:

• Strategic Vision: Define and drive a comprehensive connectivity product strategy.
• Customer Engagement: Collaborate closely with key customers to understand their needs and translate market feedback into actionable insights.
• Ecosystem Development: Foster partnerships and ecosystem growth around CBN products
• Roadmap Creation: Shape the hardware and software roadmap for new technologies and initiatives.
• Decision-Making: Make impactful decisions that align with overall business direction that typically result in significant expenditure of time, resources, and funds
• Technical Communication: Deliver complex technical presentations to showcase managed products.
• Business astuteness: Leads team collaboration in the creation of business cases and validates cases for development of a new, complex product
• Market Success: Initiate and manage programs to create demand and differentiation, tracking success in the market.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, Humanities, or related field.
• 8+ years of Product Management or related work experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Seasoned strategic partnerships / business development executive with 15+ years-experience in the high-tech space

• Must have expertise in wireless connectivity (Wi Fi/BT/BLE/Thread/Cellular)

• 5+ years negotiating 3rd party business agreements.

• 5+ years working in a large matrixed organization.

• Proven track record of delivering a strong ROI on large platform products

• Experience working with ecosystem partners in the wireless space including MNOs, module makers, service providers

• Proven track record in managing consumer electronic OEMs for wireless technology products.

Pay range and Other Compensation & Benefits:

$196,000.00 - $344,800.00

The above pay scale reflects the broad, minimum to maximum, pay scale for this job code for the location for which it has been posted. Even more importantly, please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Qualcomm. We also offer a competitive annual discretionary bonus program and opportunity for annual RSU grants (employees on sales-incentive plans are not eligible for our annual bonus).
