General Summary:

Job Overview

As part of the customer engineering team of Qualcomm China, mainly focus on automotive infotainment platform, we are looking for talents who will be responsible for supporting customers to commercialize their products with Qualcomm Linux/Android/QNX BSPs of Snapdragon APQ/MSM series. The work scope includes but not limit to customer Q&A, troubleshooting of BSP towards QNX/Linux kernel drivers and Android HAL/framework, supporting AGL/Genivi specification components, analyzing customer requirement, proposing feature design & implementation etc.

Minimum Qualifications

• Proficient in coding with C/C++, and experience in assembly.

• Good knowledge of QNX/Linux/Android OS, multi-thread, data structures and basic algorithms.- Good knowledge of Application Processor (e.g. ARM Cortex-M/A serial) architecture, multi-core, functional DSPs, and ARM’s virtualization/SMMU

• Good understanding of hardware blocks

• Ethernet, Switch, RGMII… and their SW architecture, TCP/IP, GPTP…… for porting and debugging

• Professional in Software knowledge as low level QNX/Linux Kernel Drivers, Device Tree (DTS), Driver Framework, Stability and Performance tuning

• Strong debugging and troubleshooting ability with sufficient tools (e.g. GDB, JTAG-Debugger…).

• Experiences in software design and implementation.

• Solid background in developing with an Open Source mind-set.

• Experience using software management systems (e.g. GIT, P4, GERRIT).

• Active and skillful documentation writing.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior experience with Qualcomm MSM software platforms is a big plus.

• Nice to have experience with QNX and Virtualization Extensions.

• Technical Lead Project abilities

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 4+ years of Software Applications Engineering, Software Development experience, or related work experience. OR
  Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 3+ years of Software Applications Engineering, Software Development experience, or related work experience.
  OR
  PhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 2+ years of Software Applications Engineering, Software Development experience, or related work experience.

• 2+ years of experience with Programming Language such as C, C++, Java, Python, etc.

• 1+ year of experience with debugging techniques.
