General Summary:

Job Overview

• Focus on local customers and manage customer quality issue solution for all Qualcomm products from customer R&D, mass production to field return
• Conduct lab test at system level test platform for returned failing devices from customer
• Update customers in a timely fashion regarding the status of quality issues or any requests
• Build good relationship with local customers for problem solving, quality improvement, quality performance tracking and customer satisfaction
• Work with local Application team closely for system level quality issue problem solving
• Cooperate with global CQE/PQE and related team for quality issue following up and worldwide CQE strategy implementation
• Work with local Sales/ Customer Service/ Engineering team closely especially for customer related PCN notification and following up
• Survey key customers frequently for quality review, QBR meeting
• Support QCT EMS team and involve in China RoHS regulation implementation
• Support more offshore facilities of worldwide customers

Qualification

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Physics, Electronics, or related disciplines.
• Minimum 3 years of working experience as hardware R&D or Testing Engr from cell phone OEM, or AE/FAE/CQE from semi-conductor vendor with a good technical understanding, able to review customer's Block diagram/schematic/layout/test result and troubleshooting
• Good knowledge on cell phone chipset product quality standard/requirement, and strong skills in problem solving for system level quality/application issue
• Knowledge of quality tools and reliability concepts is a plus
• Strong interpersonal communication skill with customer and internal team
• Team work for problem solving
• Proficiency in English
• Familiar with quality system
• Afford for frequent domestic and oversea travel
• Being honesty and initiative

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field and 2+ years of Hardware Applications Engineering or Hardware Design experience or related work experience. OR
  Master's degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field and 1+ year of Hardware Applications Engineering or Hardware Design experience or related work experience.
  OR
  PhD in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.
