General Summary:

Develops, defines, and executes plans of record, including: schedules, budgets, resources, deliverables, and risks. Monitors and drives the program from initiation through delivery, interfacing with internal and external stakeholders across functions on technical matters, as needed. Monitors budget/spending, on-time delivery, and achievement of program milestones. Represents the program and drives alignment across stakeholders.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
• 4+ years of Program Management or related work experience.

Position Requirements:

• Experience: A minimum of 10 years in SOC Design Verification and project management.

• Responsibilities:

Track multiple SOC DV project milestones, risks, and mitigation strategies.

• Monitor weekly progress towards milestones.

• Develop, define, and execute plans of record, including schedules, budgets, resources, deliverables, and risks.

• Interface with internal and external stakeholders across functions on technical matters as needed.

• Monitor budget/spending, ensure on-time delivery, and achieve program milestones.

• Represent the program and drive alignment across stakeholders.

• Program Management: Proficient in program management methodologies, including planning, scheduling, tracking, and execution. Effectively uses program management tools.

• Risk Management: Skilled in identifying and mitigating risks that impact programs, including prioritizing and tracking risks.

Role Responsibilities:

• Take responsibility for own work and make decisions with limited impact; errors typically only affect timelines.

• Use verbal and written communication skills to convey routine factual information about day-to-day activities to knowledgeable colleagues.

• Exercise creativity to troubleshoot technical problems or deal with novel circumstances.

• Limited problem-solving required, generally in troubleshooting simple processes or technology.

Principal Duties:

• Support the establishment of program goals and track program milestones with the team.

• Manage and take responsibility for multiple aspects of small programs/technology with minimal complexity by applying up-to-date program management knowledge to meet deadlines.

• Build and manage the execution of the Plan of Record (e.g., on time, on budget, within scope) for small and minimally complex programs or under the direction of others.

• Track all key metrics pertaining to a small program and escalate when metrics deviate significantly from the Plan of Record.

• Support the management and mitigation of identified program risks by following the risk and mitigation plans. Maintain and update the risk tracker.

• Support team objectives by completing all assigned tasks in a timely manner.

• Ensure compliance with processes by following best practices and procedures.

• Building Trusting Relationships: Ability to build trusting, collaborative relationships and rapport with diverse individuals and businesses. Deliver on commitments, maintain confidentiality, and relate well to people regardless of personality or background.

• Communication: Convey information clearly and accurately, choosing the most effective method of delivery. Use a technically sound communication style both verbally and in writing.

• Decision Making: Make quick, accurate decisions, weighing alternatives and considering the impact on people, equipment, or other resources.
