General Summary:

Join our China IoT Audio Software Development team and deliver high-quality audio/voice solutions on Qualcomm So Cs for Snapdragon IoT platforms.
Skills/Experience

• 5+ years of C/C++ software design and development experience on Linux platforms, or 3+ years of audio software engineering experience on Linux platforms is preferred.
• Solid understanding of ALSA, Androud Audio HAL and Framework; experience with Audio Reach is a plus.
• Familiarity with multimedia frameworks such as Pulse Audio, Pipe Wire, GStreamer, Nu Player, Codec2.
• Knowledge of audio interfaces and hardware: I2S, Sound Wire, WSA, WCD, Smart PA.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; proven team player.
• Proficiency in both oral and written English.

Responsibilities

• Audio bring up, debug, and optimize existing audio drivers and software.
• Perform issue triage, root cause analysis, and develop investigation strategies.
• Design, implement, and validate audio features (e.g. Fluence, KWD, BT/DP/USB audio).
• Follow established software processes and contribute to continuous quality improvement.
• Coordinate with internal and international teams to resolve issues and deliver solutions.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 2+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience. OR
  Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 1+ year of Software Engineering or related work experience.
  OR
  PhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.

• 2+ years of academic or work experience with Programming Language such as C, C++, Java, Python, etc.
