Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 3+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience. OR
  Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 2+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience.
  OR
  PhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 1+ year of Software Engineering or related work experience.

• 2+ years of academic or work experience with Programming Language such as C, C++, Java, Python, etc.

Job Overview:

QCT Software Automation and Tools (QSWAT) group is looking for Full Time QA Test Engineers to assess QSWAT tools quality through manual and automated testing. QSWAT Tools are used by majority of QCT Software development and test organizations. Candidates shall be responsible for design, develop, and automate test cases. Majority of the Tools are Web Based and hosted on the cloud. Test framework and test cases leveraged AWS, Spec Flow BDD, C# and Python scripting languages.

Minimum Qualifications:

2 or more years of academic or industry experience in the following areas

• Experience in coding using Selenium web Driver, BDD Test framework, and Playwright with Typescript.
• Scripting languages such as Python.
• Experience with a variety of different testing techniques such as UI Testing, Automated Testing and Test-Driven Development Strategies.
• Experience with software QA tools and processes.
• Plan, create and manage the overall Quality Planning strategy.
• SQL Server or related databases including working with ORMs such as Entity Framework and/or Dapper
• Perforce or Gerrit VCS.
• Cloud (AWS), Docker and Jenkins.
• Experience in multiple cloud vendors (Azure, GCP) and application performance testing is an additional advantage.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop and automate test cases using Selenium/BDD test framework and Playwright.
• Test QSWAT tools and identify deficiencies and report Bugs.
• Suggest solutions to identify QSWAT tools problems.
• Investigate Tools quality to make improvements to achieve better customer satisfaction
• Plan, create and manage the overall Quality Planning strategy.
• Collaborate with the Tools Development teams to ensure consistent project execution.
• Identify quality assurance process bottleneck and suggest actions for improvement
• Oversee continuous improvement projects
• Collect quality data and identify key KPIs for Tools quality.
• Prepare and present reports and metrics to Senior Management.
