As a Qualcomm Hardware Engineer, you will plan, design, optimize, verify, and test electronic systems, bring-up yield, circuits, mechanical systems, Digital/Analog/RF/optical systems, equipment and packaging, test systems, FPGA, and/or DSP systems that launch cutting-edge, world class products. Qualcomm Hardware Engineers collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop solutions and meet performance requirements.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Engineering, or related field and 3+ years of Hardware Engineering or related work experience. OR
  Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Engineering, or related field and 2+ years of Hardware Engineering or related work experience.
  OR
  PhD in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Engineering, or related field and 1+ year of Hardware Engineering or related work experience.

QCT Strategic PD team is actively seeking candidates skilled in RTL to GDS. You will be part of an elite team that develops innovative solutions and tackles challenging design problems

As a digital design R&D Engineer some of the key tasks are

Improving Performance, Power, and Area (PPA) for the performance cores like GPU, AI, Modem and DDR Developing ML solutions (ECO and otherwise) for faster and smarter timing closure for the SoC Use of Big-Data/ML/Analytics in digital design to guide better design choices, improve convergence times with better PPA metrics

Required Skills

• Working knowledge in Digital VLSI implementation (netlist to GDS)
• STA
• Power Distribution Network (PDN)
• Familiarity and understanding of ML algorithms and techniques.
• Hands on experience with EDA tools (Primetime, ICC2, Innovus, Tempus, etc.)
• Coding with Python, TCL

Expected Experience: 5 – 12 years of relevant industry experience
