About the Role:

We are seeking a Senior Engineer to join our SW Architecture & Research Group, contributing to the research, design, and implementation of advanced DSP, WIFI, 5G and AI‑domain algorithms for high‑performance systems. This role emphasizes Embedded world with Data and Control Planes, DSP parallelism, wireless communication technologies, and deep Linux kernel and user‑space development, bridging cutting‑edge research with robust, production‑quality solutions.

You will operate across algorithm research, AI, wireless systems, parallel computing, and system architecture, influencing future platform capabilities and long‑term product strategy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Research, design, and optimize DSP and AI‑domain algorithms, including:

  • Parallel and distributed processing models

  • Streaming, pipeline‑based, and low‑latency computation

  • AI‑assisted signal processing and training/inference workflows

  • Develop algorithms with a strong focus on parallelism, including:

  • Multi‑core and many‑core CPU/GPU/DSP architectures

  • SIMD/vectorization and memory‑aware optimizations

  • Task, data, and pipeline parallelism

  • Implement algorithms in Linux user space and kernel space, including:

  • Kernel modules, drivers, and data‑path optimizations

  • Scheduling, synchronization, and memory‑management optimizations

  • High‑throughput, low‑latency communication mechanisms

  • Contribute to wireless system architectures, including Wi‑Fi and 5G cellular technologies, across PHY, MAC, and system integration aspects.

  • Define and analyze end‑to‑end system flows, execution pipelines, and data paths combining DSP, AI, and wireless workloads.

  • Build and maintain simulation, modeling, and prototyping frameworks for:

  • Algorithm validation

  • Wireless performance evaluation

  • Architectural trade‑off analysis

  • Perform performance profiling, modeling, and optimization at algorithm, OS, and system levels.

  • Apply AI techniques to enhance system behavior, performance analysis, or signal processing tasks.

  • Collaborate with firmware, hardware, and system architects on hardware/software co‑design.

  • Mentor engineers, provide technical leadership, and influence best practices.

  • Produce high‑quality architecture documents, research reports, and design specifications.

Required Qualifications

  • BSc/MSc/PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.

  • (3-8)+ years of experience in algorithm development, system architecture, or low‑level software engineering.

  • Strong background in DSP and/or AI algorithms, with performance‑critical implementations.

  • Deep understanding of parallel computing, including:

  • Data, task, and pipeline parallelism

  • Memory hierarchy and cache behavior

  • Concurrency and synchronization

  • Strong experience with Linux, including:

  • Advanced user‑space development (C/C++)

  • Linux kernel development, kernel internals, and debugging

  • Python

  • Solid understanding of computer architecture, performance bottlenecks, and system‑level optimization.

  • Experience with simulation, performance modeling, and profiling tools.

  • Excellent analytical, debugging, and communication skills.

Advanced / Preferred Knowledge

  • Wireless Communications

  • Deep understanding of Wi‑Fi (802.11)or/and5G cellular systems

  • Familiarity with PHY/MAC concepts, signal processing chains, and system‑level modeling

  • AI & Machine Learning

  • Hands‑on experience using Python for algorithm development and research

  • Practical knowledge of Py Torch for model development, training, or inference

  • Understanding of AI workload characteristics and system implications

  • System & Architecture

  • Experience with real‑time or low‑latency systems

  • Knowledge of heterogeneous systems, accelerators, or SIMD architectures

  • Familiarity with hardware/software co‑optimization for performance and power

  • Prior experience in an architecture, or research group

  • Publications, patents, or demonstrated research contributions are a strong advantage
