The Opportunity:
As part of the State and Local Tax team you are expected to lead the way as a technology-enabled tax advisor, providing benefits through digitization, automation, and increased efficiencies. As a Director you are responsible for setting the strategic direction, leading business development efforts, and overseeing multiple projects while maintaining impactful executive-level client relations. You play a crucial role in driving business growth, shaping client engagements, and mentoring the future leaders, while upholding PwC's reputation for quality, integrity, and inclusion.

Establish and communicate the strategic vision for the State and Local Tax team

Drive business growth through innovative tax advisory solutions

Oversee multiple projects maintaining top-quality client deliverables

Foster executive-level client relationships and satisfaction

Mentor and develop the future leaders of tax

Promote digitization and automation to enhance efficiencies

Collaborate across the PwC network to leverage collective knowledge
What You Must Have:
-
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
-
6 years of experience
-
CPA, Member of the Bar or other tax, technology, or finance-specific credentials may qualify for this opportunity

A Juris Doctorate (JD), Master of Laws (LLM), or Master's degree in Accounting or Taxation field of study will be considered in lieu of a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting.

Proficiency in FAS 5 and reverse audits

Leading teams to generate a vision and establish direction

Evaluating and negotiating new and existing contracts

Leveraging pricing tools to contribute to pricing strategies
The salary range for this position is: $150,000 - $438,000. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications and location, and applicable employment laws. All hired individuals are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
