The Role:
The Visual Merchandising and Assortment Manager is responsible for ensuring the strategic development and alignment of visual merchandising (VM) initiatives across the EMEA region from a product assortment point of view. This role will partner with the EMEA merchandising teams to build product strategies against store capacities and typical layouts. The role supplements and influences the global VM seasonal communication to drive brand consistency and retail excellence in EMEA. The ideal candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams, including Buying, Merchandising, Sales, Global VM, Wholesale Strategy and Marketing, to ensure a cohesive 360° execution of visual strategies which are brand right and commercially successful.
Key Responsibilities:

Proactively ensure the strategic alignment and carry through of visual merchandising (VM) initiatives across the EMEA region (premarket and post in-store delivery) for all channels – wholesale, retail, outlet

Actively influences the merchant and buying teams assortment planning in relation to product mix (Fashion to core program) and sku capacity for key locations - prior to each market and buy.

Supports and influences the development of Global VM guidelines for the benefit of EMEA direction based on the influencing and planning factors of the buy and depth ownership. Inclusive of Model Shops and Mock Shops.

Supports the Showroom set-up and product strategy.

Follows up on and recaps the seasonal success and learnings of VM implementation and Visual Assortment recommendation commercially and from a brand elevation perspective.
Deliverables: Visual Merchandising Strategy & Execution

Align EMEA VM strategies with global guidelines to ensure a consistent brand image.

Develop and implement seasonal VM wholesale toolkits and strategies.

Deliver clear assortment planning direction aligned which is aligned to the goals set with stakeholders – tools to include planograms, fixture fills, assortment packs, sku recommendations.

Manage the collation of seasonal communication and input from various departments.

Support EMEA showroom VM execution and strategy.

Participate in flagship store installations, ensuring high-quality execution.
The Ideal Candidate:
-
Extensive experience in Visual Merchandising within the premium luxury retail sector.
-
Experience in buying or planning is an asset.
-
Ability to work under pressure, adapt and manage heavy work periods including extended hours
-
Ability to travel for showroom set-up’s, mock shops and store flips.
-
Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects, partners and channels.
-
Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams, ensuring alignment across departments.
-
Strong analytical skills

Ability to differentiate visual merchandising direction across channels and between varying brand assortments, ages and genders.

Experience with many divisional product categories. Men’s, Women’s, Children’s, Close to Body, Accessories, Tommy Jeans.

Experience working across different retail channels – Wholesale, Retail, Outlet.
-
Outstanding knowledge and understanding of product placement and planogramming.
-
Microsoft Office – Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook

Knowledge of Mac based platform

Knowledge of In Design and Adobe Creative Suite an asset

Knowledge of Sketch Up an asset

Good Photography skills with a i Phone
Additionally, the ideal candidate should possess a keen eye for detail and a passion for maximizing the consumer journey through product placement, ensuring that every display not only attracts but also resonates with our target audience. Tailoring approaches to different markets will be key, leveraging local insights and cultural nuances to create impactful and memorable in-store experiences. This strategic role is pivotal in ensuring brand right excellence in visual merchandising across the EMEA region.
