What you will do

The successful candidate will be part of a growing and exciting team that is an integrated part of a large and global credit business. They will work closely with senior members of the team and will learn & develop exceptional financial modelling, analytical and investment analysis skills, negotiation & presentation skills and will have exposure to the European Investment Grade corporate bond markets.

What you can expect

Successful Investment Analysts will assist with the evaluation of new investment opportunities by performing fundamental credit research analysis of companies, which would include qualitative analysis, financial modelling and review of due diligence. They will also support ongoing critical monitoring of existing portfolio positions.

What you will bring

·Strong critical thinking and logic skills

·Excellent written and verbal communication skills on all levels

·Embraces and encourages change and development

·Maintains high level of productivity and self-direction

·Enjoys being a part of a team but can work independently

·Proactive in solution solving

·Strong academic background (minimum 2:1 degree or equivalent)

·Minimum of 128 UCAS points or equivalent (from top 3 A levels, excluding General Studies)

·Highly numerate

·Genuine interest in investments and financial markets

·Able to set priorities and complete simultaneous projects

·Strong analytical skills and enjoys thinking about and solving complex issues

·Strong quantitative skills, with the ability to easily use spreadsheets and models

·Must be able to meet tight deadlines whilst maintaining a high quality of work

·Computer proficiency with a strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, and the ability to learn new and proprietary applications

·Candidates who have completed internships and/or have some work experience in a Finance industry role will be viewed favorably.

·Candidates with Economics, Accounting, Finance or Business degrees would be viewed favorably.

What we offer you

  • Private Medical Insurance:

PGIM offers private medical insurance and pays the full premium on behalf of all employees.

  • Annual Leave of 25 to 28 days, based on years of service, at full pay.
  • Retirement Savings Plan:

Employees receive a company contribution of 10% basic annual salary and a maximum employer-matching contribution of 5% of basic annual salary.

  • Life Assurance & Income Protection:

Life Assurance for 8 times your basic annual salary, up to a max benefit of £1.8million. 60% of your basic annual salary for a limited payment terms of 5 years, at the end of which a capital sum of 2x your basic annual salary is payable.
