The Role:

We are looking for a Sr. Software Engineer who is an outstanding team player with a positive attitude, and high energy, to help us deliver state of the art products. Someone that want to grow herself, the product and the team. We're looking for someone with the ability to work independent, and communicate clearly and effectively with team members.

Your day-to-day

• You understand the complexities and tradeoffs for building systems with 99.999% availability

• Design/Code/Test based on user stories, and product defects (perl & golang)

• Ability to spear head a project, leading other engineers as part of a team

• Contribute to software design and code reviews

• Solid understanding of algorithms & data structures along with their runtime complexities

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Introduce and influence process improvements and act as an agent for change to the organization

What you bring to the team

• Passionate about scripting, preferably in perl

• BS Degree in CS, or similar technical field of study or equivalent practical experience

• 3-6 years software development experience

• Full Stack developer, while you may love the backend, you are not shy of the UI

• Good experience in LINUX/UNIX and any scripting language (Ruby / Perl / Python) or Java

• High accountability and a track record of delivering high quality game changing products

• Low ego and someone who puts the team and the organization first. You have strong opinions that are loosely held

• Challenges status quo and looks for continuous improvement in systems and processes

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets as set out below. Pay within these ranges varies and depends on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The actual offer will be based on the individual candidate. The range provided may represent a candidate range and may not reflect the full range for an individual tenured employee. This role may be eligible for variable compensation and/or equity. We offer a competitive benefits package, including flexible time off, a comprehensive well-being program with two paid Wellbeing Days and two paid Volunteer Days per year, plus a three-week Work from Anywhere option.

SF Bay Area, New York City Metro Area:

Base Pay Range: 166,500.00 - 244,200.00 USD

California (excludes SF Bay Area), Colorado, Connecticut, Illinois, Washington DC Metro, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, Texas, Washington, Virginia, and Alaska:

Base Pay Range: 136,200.00 - 199,760.00 USD

All other cities and states excluding those listed above:

Base Pay Range: 124,100.00 - 182,050.00 USD
