Responsibilities The Associate Product Manager is integral to our Agile Team, focusing on defining and prioritizing the team’s backlog to meet critical product management objectives.

This role is outstanding as it offers the opportunity to work with intermediate portfolios and take a meaningful role in coordinating delivered work.

You will be instrumental in the preparation and delivery of system demos, ensuring that our products exceed customer expectations.

Essential Functions Responsible for backlog refinement and preparation of planned releases, including backlog grooming, prioritizing the team’s backlog, and ensuring business priorities are adequately represented.

Contribute to crafting product/program/project vision, roadmap, and content presentations. (25%) Validate that the story meets acceptance criteria and will achieve the desired customer outcome. (15%) Review and prioritize backlog as part of preparatory work for sprint planning, including coordinating content dependencies with other product owners.

Act as a source for user story detail and priorities, and accept the final sprint plan during planning meetings. (15%) Participated in story definition, offering clarification to help the team with story estimates, sprint loading, story sequencing, and outlining the team's specific objectives during planning. (15%) With input from the product manager and other collaborators, build, refine, and maintain team backlog.

Backlog items are prioritized based on user value, time, and other team dependencies determined in release planning. (20%) Play a meaningful part in communicating and collecting feedback from customers/users on delivered work, sharing the input with the team, and reviewing/accepting stories.

Participate in team retrospectives to support ongoing team improvement. (5%) Perform other job-related duties or special projects as required.

Qualifications Qualifications Essential Qualification Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.

At least 6 years related experience.

Excellent communication skills, including the ability to influence and negotiate.

Solid critical thinking, collaboration, and decision-making skills.

Additional Information Desired Qualification Mid-level experience of working in FS domain.

Working as Business Analyst is an added advantage.

Comprehension of the responsibilities of a PO within an agile setting.

Strong knowledge of the Life/Retirement sector.

Strong understanding of the complete process flow within the Life/Retirement domain.

Understanding of Product Management Concepts.

Experience: in backlog grooming/prioritization.

Should have worked in agile teams at scrum level and involvement in scrum planning.

Operating within an agile setting and working closely with Business and Scrum Team.

Exposure to Business and IT collaborator Management.
