Responsibilities Associate Manager
Accounting Join Principal Financial Group as an Associate Manager

You will establish guidelines in accounting and compliance, ensuring our operations are audit-ready and strictly follow regulatory standards. Job Responsibilities Prepare and review quarterly and annual statutory financial statements according to regulatory and accounting standards. Maintain audit-ready documentation and provide support during internal and external audits. Assist in preparing journal entries related to statutory financial transactions. Support state and NAIC compliance activities, ensuring timely and accurate submissions. Load, verify, and reconcile statutory financial data within financial systems to support quarterly and annual reporting cycles. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance; professional certifications preferred. 8–12 years of experience in statutory financial reporting. Strong knowledge of NAIC reporting, U.S. GAAP, and SAP accounting. High attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to exercise judgment in ambiguous situations and work independently. Proficiency with financial reporting tools and ability to learn new systems quickly. Additional Information Why Join Us?
