PPG is looking for an Intern to join our Quality Control team by helping with basic lab testing, checking product documentation, and assisting in data review to ensure products meet quality standards. Depending on different universities ' requirements, this internship program may range from 6 to 12 months.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist on routine laboratory testing of production batches to ensure conformance with specifications
• Perform daily administrative task including file organizing, sampling, updating test results, work-in-progress report and CoA preparation.
• Support on customer complaint handling
• Support on audit including documentation, reviewing compliance gaps, and preparing reports.
• Assist QC Chemist on investigation of internal non-conformance, including sampling, root cause analysis and corrective and preventive actions implementation.
• Help to maintain laboratory’s housekeeping (5S), chemical handling, calibration and ensure safety and compliance.
• Participate in continuous improvement activities and cost saving project
• Involve in inter-departmental collaboration (production, process engineering, maintenance, technical) when tackling quality related issue.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or related field.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow laboratory procedures and documentation standards accurately
• Proficient in English with the ability to read technical documents and communicate technical results.
