Aerospace Quality CMM Process Technician

Grand Prairie, TX

As the Aerospace Quality CMM Process Technician, you will complete CMM and tooling inspections and support production as required. In this role you will evaluate, test, and validate IT systems, services and /or software. You will also assess service levels and product performance to ensure they meet established quality standards. As well as document issues and track status in designated systems. This role also will develop solutions to resolve problems and makes recommendations for improvements to process, configuration, and products.

This is an onsite role at our Grand Prairie, TX facility and you will report to the Quality Manager.

Responsibilities:

• Inspect various tools and inspection devices using Coordinate Measurement Machine (CMM), such as FARO Arm and Laser Tracker Equipment to ensure they meet established requirements.
• Translate customer files such as Digital Production Definition (DPD) into existing inspection equipment language.
• Document issues and findings and track the status in designated systems.
• Develop solutions to resolve problems and make recommendations for improvements to process, configuration, and products.
• Collaborate with other teams to resolve issues.
• Support audits as needed.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma required.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field preferred.
• Two or more years of experience with one or more of the following: CMM, Laser Tracker, FARO Arm, and digital product definition
• Experience with AS9100 preferred.
