Associate Business Development Director

Exciting and unique opportunity to be the figurehead for growth in a high potential market for PPG!!

You will work with existing PPG customers to introduce and develop opportunities with a new product line, while also identifying and converting new business.

You will create the expansion of PPG's Allied Products business across international (non‑EMEA) markets. This commercial role shapes and executes the international sales agenda, developing strategic partnerships, managing multi‑tiered channels, and maximizing global growth opportunities. You will report directly to the Business Development Director for Allied Products and play an important leadership role in setting long‑term strategy and delivering day‑to‑day commercial progress.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the growth of Allied product sales and market share across our international channels.

• Develop strategic partnerships and manage high‑value commercial agreements across multi‑tiered distribution routes.

• Shape the commercial approach for market entry, reach, brand alignment, and routes to market.

• Collaborate with local sales teams to identify and achieve growth opportunities including cross‑selling and upselling.

• Work with affiliate groups, export teams, and company partners to build a curated Allied product portfolio aligned with market needs.

• Support the Business Development Director in building long‑term commercial and growth strategies across all international markets.

• Coordinate internal functions — including IT, logistics, forecasting, and training — to ensure scalable international expansion.

• Serve as an important interface between affiliates, international customers, and internal commercial teams to unlock growth opportunities.

• Monitor and protect commercial margins to ensure sustainable long‑term profitability.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in international B2B channel management, with experience in multi‑tiered distribution (importers, distributors, agents, and affiliates).

• Demonstrated ability to develop market reach strategies in underdeveloped or new regions.

• Capability to translate technical product value into compelling business cases for diverse international partners.

• Experience with international trade requirements, including transfer pricing, legal compliance, global supply chain forecasting, and trademark registration.

• High engagement with partners and markets; willingness to travel (minimum 50%) for planning, training, and customer management.
