INTRODUCTION
PPG Refinish Collision Coatings is looking for a high-performing NEW BUSINESS MANAGER. The ideal candidate will have existing experience in the Refinish Collision Industry.
- RESPONSIBILITIES
Actively contribute to the business to help reach organizational goals.
Execute segment strategy in collaboration with segment managers.
Guide and delivers development and execution of target Pipeline Plan to reach share growth targets.
Focus on winning new customers
A market influencer with focus on large key group accounts
Consistent growth initiatives with existing accounts
Maintain links with key decision makers and have a good understanding of customer needs and requirements.
Must be able to maintain and grow existing market share, unlock new markets, and identify opportunities in the industry.
Effectively contribute to the sales, product, and segment teams by gathering, organizing, and sharing market intelligence.
Increase customer retention by understanding our products as well as opposition products.
Keep clients up to date with latest sales tools and commercial proposals
Ability to respond to questions regarding a product specification.
Ability to grow indirect sales through distributors and identify new distributors.
Developing and maintaining strong relationships with key clients.
Excellent interpersonal, customer service and communication skills.
Handling and resolving customer complaints regarding a product or service.
High level of understanding of the Refinish Collision Industry
REQUIREMENTS
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar technical B2B environment.
A proven track record of delivering growth results and meeting financial objectives.
Strong business acumen demonstrating ability to define, develop and execute on new business opportunities.
Management skills essential
Ability to engage external customers directly and effectively.
Professional and positive approach, self-motivated, team player, dynamic, creative and ability to work on own initiative.
Demonstrates strong verbal and written communication skills including the ability to clearly present recommendations and ideas to summarize complex issues.
Strong professionalism and work ethic, exhibiting a clear compliance culture.
Organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to travel domestically and internationally as needed.
Good level of Micro Soft and general computer use.
Sales negotiation skills and upselling of product lines essential
To meet necessary KPI in terms of computer skills and strategy costing methods in Collision based programmes @ distributor and end user level
JOB DIMENSIONS
Externally dealing with high level managers at various stakeholders in the Collision Coatings market.
Based in Western Cape:
Travelling locally and internationally as required

Reporting to the National Collision Manager for PPG Refinish SA
