This role will be responsible for the overall management and development of distributor and agent networks across the region. This role is critical to driving growth, optimizing channel performance, and ensuring compliance with PPG’s standards and policies. You will collaborate closely with sub-regions, country general managers, local commercial teams and other stakeholders to enhance distributor and agent business growth with a focus on transparency, efficiency, productivity and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the distributor and agent network for Industrial Coatings across the ROAP region, ensuring alignment with PPG’s enterprise growth strategy and regional business goals.
• Develop and implement growth strategies and objectives for distributor and agent channels to maximize market penetration and revenue growth.
• Optimize distributor and agent network performance through effective category management, objective setting, and channel management tools.
• Ensure strict compliance with PPG’s standards, policies, and legal requirements, including anti-corruption and ethical business practices.
• Oversee third-party compliance management, including contractual obligations, service delivery standards, and performance monitoring.
• Collaborate with sub-region and country general managers and local commercial teams to drive distributor and agent business development initiatives.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Supply Chain, or a related field
• Minimum 4-6 years of experience in distributor or channel management, preferably within the coatings, industrial chemicals, or related manufacturing sectors.
• Proven track record of managing distributor and agent networks in a multi-country or regional capacity, ideally within the Asia Pacific region.
• Strong understanding of distributor and agent contractual frameworks, compliance requirements, and operational best practices.
• Fluency in local language and English is required; additional regional languages such as Mandarin are a plus.
