As the Regional Manager, Central United States and Canada,
you will support the profitable sales growth for USCA Protective and Marine Coatings with focus on Data Centers build projects and related infrastructure.
You will report to the Leader for Digital Infrastructure Building Solutions. The successful candidate will lead a geographic team responsible for calling on architects, engineering firms, owners and general contractors involved in specifying data center projects, with the key objective of ensuring PPG coatings are specified and seeing projects through completion.
This is a remote role with 50% travel.
Responsibilities:

Lead and direct activities for geographically focused Engineering Specification Representative(s) roles in your region

Support the goals for sales, profitability, overhead, expense control and working capital.

Develop and execute segment, region, and customer sales strategies. Including: team structure, selling process, pipeline management, contract management and negotiation strategies

Identify market and segment strategies to maximize revenue and profit including, subsegment market strategies, customer targets, product portfolio or technologies.

Ensure cooperation between the strategic sales managers, key account managers, technical service representatives, technology centers, marketing, product management, customer service, manufacturing, and other PPG in matrixed environments

Foster developments across the value chain to influence spec decisions and outcomes
Qualifications:
-
A college degree or equivalent in a relevant field.

MBA or advanced degrees are preferred but not required

Minimum 10 years experience calling on architects, engineering firms and general contractors working with specifications

Experience hiring, developing and leading a team focused across the region on specification and contract chain
-
Strong technical understanding product specification cycles and construction process
