The Opportunity
As an Engineering Manager, AI Infrastructure, you will lead teams building and operating the foundational systems that power AI model post-training, inference, and large-scale data pipelines. You will own the reliability, scalability, and performance of critical AI infrastructure while partnering closely with research, product, and platform leaders to deliver robust, production-grade AI systems.
You will balance technical leadership and people management, guiding architecture and execution while growing a high-performing team in a fast-moving AI environment.
What You’ll Do

Lead and grow a team of engineers responsible for large-scale, distributed AI infrastructure and services

Set technical direction and architectural standards for AI post-training, inference, and data pipelines
-
Drive performance optimization across GPU/xPU accelerators, networking, storage, and cloud environments
-
Own reliability, scalability, and observability for AI workloads, including SLAs, incident response, and capacity planning
-
Partner cross-functionally with research, ML, product, and platform teams to define infrastructure requirements and roadmap

Translate business and research needs into long-term infrastructure strategy and execution plans
-
Review designs and code, ensuring high engineering quality, security, and system longevity

Mentor and develop engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence, ownership, and collaboration
About You
-
Have experience leading engineering teams building GenAI infrastructure, distributed systems, or high-performance platforms
-
Strong background in cloud computing, large-scale distributed systems, and AI/ML infrastructure
-
Deep understanding of scaling challenges for AI workloads, including accelerators (GPU/xPU), scheduling, and performance tuning
-
Comfortable making architectural tradeoffs across cost, performance, reliability, and velocity
-
Proficient in Python, Go, or similar languages, with the ability to guide design and review complex systems
-
Thrive in fast-paced, ambiguous environments and enjoy collaborating across research and engineering organizations
